He was predeceased by: his parents, Herold Hollis Cole and Nora Christine Bolan Cole; and his sisters, Evelyn Teene Simpson, Helen Genette Owens and Opal Ruth Cole.

He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Cole (Terry); his children, Chadrick Cole and Chasity Cole Nichols (Mark); his sister-in-law Joan Williams of Hillsboro; his grandchildren, Madison Dawn Harris, Gracie Irene Cole, Chloe Elizabeth Cole, Maverick Heath Cole, Hunter Cole Nichols and Mackenzie Rhea Nichols; and his great grandchild Landon Harris.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
