He was predeceased by: his father James Conard Elliott; his stepfather Geter Hensley; his mother June Hensley (Dodd); his siblings, Doris Givens, Sarah Kirkland, Mary Warden, Joyce Rimpf, Linda Castleberry, James Elliott and Wayne Hensley; and his niece Paula.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Elliott (Stinson); his children, Michael (Samantha) and Michele Hedden (Joey); his siblings, Louise (Jerry), Brenda (Larry) and Joe (Georgann); his grandchildren, Brittany, Lil Joey (Amanda), Jamie, Jacob (Kalie), Jessica (Dakota) and Justin; his great grandchildren, Seth, Ashton, Brooks, Dawson, Dax, Demi, Theo and Eleanor; and his pet Khaza.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Waterfront Rescue Mission to help the homeless.
