He is survived by: his wife June Gail Gardella Sheppard; his children, James Sheppard Jr., Julie Sheppard Turner (Phillip) and Jay Sheppard (Bobbie); his granddaughters, Marina Turner and Delaney Turner; and his great grandchildren, Cash Sheppard Bryant and Jay Hart-Lee Sheppard.
