With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Calvin Gallops Jr. (Pensacola, Florida), who passed away on November 29, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As James departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Calvin" Gallops, Sr. and Edna Mae Gallops (Peterson). He is survived by: his wife Judy Gallops (Nettles); his children, James "Jay" Gallops, III and Julie Utley (Jeff); his grandchildren, Andrew, Lauren, Evalyn and Russell; and his sister Doreen Brewton (Eddie). He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Bible Fellowship (10460 Motley Ct, Pensacola, FL 32514).
