He is survived by: his daughter Lileah Messick; his parents, Chuck Messick and Susie Messick; his sister Christy Gardner; his brother-in-law Jesse Gardner; and his nephews, Jase, Reed and Grant Gardner. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Faith Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory - North (1000 S Hwy 29, Cantonment, FL 32533). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jason's memory to the American Heart Association.
