She was predeceased by: her parents, Green Berry and Edna "Ruth" Foster; her husband Hampton Edgar "Pete" Sasser, Sr.; her daughter Carol; her son-in-law Malcomn Peacock; her siblings, Willie Foster (Vaudie), Howard Foster (Mary), Agnes, Hellen Foster and Edward Foster; and her siblings-in-law, Doris Foster, Jim Sasser (Fay), Fred Sasser (Pauline), Ralph Sasser (Joyce), Wayne Sasser (Christene) and Christine Couey.

She is survived by: her sons, H. E. "Ed" Sasser, Jr. (Kim) and Mike Sasser (Terri); her grandchildren, Angie Grisson (Jamie), Woody Peacock, Chris Peacock (Staci), Kim Adams (Kelly), Jenny Trahan (BJ), Blake Sasser (Saori), Brad Peacock, Justin Sasser, Chase Sasser (Ashley), Morgan Sasser and Heather Sasser; her great grandchildren, Hannah, Samantha Trahan, Kento, Eugene Sasser, Bradley Peacock, Jonah and Julian Sasser; her siblings, Billy Foster and Louise Nowling (Larry); and her brother-in-law Wayne Couey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
