It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Byron Holder (Pensacola, Florida), who passed away on February 10, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, AJ Holder and Ruby Jewell Holder; his sister Virginia; and his aunt Laney. He is survived by : his wife Barbara; his daughters, Kathryn and Jennifer (Christopher); his grandsons, Paul and Peter; his daughter Amanda (Jared); his brother Alan; and his close friend Jim. He is also survived by many nieces, relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you instead make a contribution to the American Cancer Society in his name, or, if able, make the priceless act of blood donation to OneBlood as this was a lifelong service of his.
