He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyda Irwin Laritz and John Joseph Laritz, Sr.; and his sister Barbara Laritz Erwin. He is survived by: his wife Helen B. Laritz; his children, David Michael Laritz (Ann) and Molly Laritz Cobb (Richard); his grandsons, Vernon Bryant Cobb (Katie), Tanner Payne Laritz and Payton Robert Laritz; and his great grandchild Miller Bo Cobb.
