She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Whitehead and Polly Jones Whitehead; her husband James "Jim" R. Strawbridge; her siblings, Mary Ellen Edwards, Margaret McBride and Billy Gene Whitehead; and her nephew Harmon McBride, Jr..
She is survived by: her brother Devon Whitehead of Aliquippa, PA; and her nieces and nephews, Kahl Edwards (Pat) of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Ellen Edwards Milo (Mick) of Pensacola, FL, Mary Kaye Edwards Bell (Scott) of Pensacola, FL, John Edwards (Susan) of Birmingham, AL, Carol McBride Richardson of Las Vegas, NV, Linda Whitehead Searight of Panama City, FL, Harry Whitehead (Patty) of Montville, OH, David Whitehead of Charleroi, PA and Gene Whitehead (Brenda) of Bellair, FL. She is also survived by fourteen great nieces and nephews; twenty-eight great-great nieces and nephews; and there are four great-great nieces and nephews.
