He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Richardson and Wallace Whitfield, Sr.; and his niece April LeAnn Haynes. He is survived by: his brothers, Wallace Whitfield, Jr. (Cinda) and Craig Steven Whitfield (Carolyn); his stepfather Thomas Richardson; his wife Helen Clare Whitfield; his daughters, Rachel Johnson (Jay), Lauren Marchlewski (Joshua) and Carmen Roby (Scott); and his grandchildren, Isabelle, Jack, Kenneth "Bay", Georgia, Archer Johnson, Andrew, John, Isaac, Gabriel, Henry Marchlewski, Olivia, Emily, Walter and Franklin Roby.
