He was predeceased by: his parents, William Penton and Evelyn Penton; his brother William "Billy" Penton; his grandson Josh McCurdy; and his sibling's children, Terri Anderson, Ashley Penton and Chuck Penton.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Vallia (Bo), Debbie Johnston (Andrew) and Tony Penton; his grandchildren, Paul Vallia (Marissa), Matthew Vallia, Daniel Vallia (Jennifer), Quina Johnston, Brandon Davenport, Brittany Maynor, Tiffany Delaputro and Chris Hewitt (Jordan); and his siblings, Bonnie Cleveland and Harley Penton. He is also survived by extended family and many lifelong friends.
