We bid farewell to Linda Gibbson of Pensacola, Florida, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 24, 2025 at the age of 79. Linda touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to Linda's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Linda has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Brooks Odom and Verlie Mae Stewart Odom; her husband John Gibbson; and her siblings, Brenda Odom Hebert and Bruce Darrel Odom.
She is survived by: her children, Shane Fickling (Debra) of Pensacola, FL, Kirk Fickling (Erika) of Jacksonville, FL and Jill Conyers (Chad) of Cincinnati, OH; and her siblings, Bobby Odom of Perdido, AL and Cindy Odom of Manhattan, NY. She is also survived by four grandchildren; four great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sullivan Cemetery.
