She was predeceased by: her husband Doug Pitman; her mother Gladys Irene Slaughter; her brothers, Buck and John Askew; her aunt Olene; and her uncle Abney.
She is survived by: her close friend Jerry Owens; her children, Renee Breal (Matt), Michelle Higgins (John), Belinda Pitman and Marc Dahl (Dave); her grandchildren, Savannah Paulene (Zach), Kaley Cook (Tylor), Kaelan Higgins, Kincaid Breal, Madison Workman, Jeffery Colley and Morgan Higgins; and her great grandchildren, Jameson, Sutton and Hadley.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pensacola Memorial Gardens (7433 Pine Forest Rd, Pensacola, FL 32526). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family's wishes a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Keeping A Breast Foundation in Pensacola.
