She was predeceased by: her parents, William M. Stewart and Katie Thompson Stewart; her husband Harry C. Gomez, Sr.; her daughter Dottie Gomez Whitt (Liz); her grandson Lance Eric Whitt; her brothers, Ralph and Frank Stewart; her children-in-law, Dane Steele and Cathy Gomez; and her pet Roscoe.
She is survived by: her children, William "Billy" Gomez, Nancy Gomez Steele of Debbie Gomez, H. C. and Michael Gomez. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
