She was predeceased by: her parents, Faro Leone and Catherine Leone (Gange) of Castellammare, Sicily.; her former husband Paul Messina; her son Anthony (Betty Messina); her grandsons, Dylan Messina and Nicholas Trombly; and her siblings, Theresa Messina, Angie DiLeonardo, Vita Messina, Peter Leone and Joe Leone.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Messina (Patrice) of Tavernier, Dr. Frank Messina (Mary) of Pensacola, David Messina (Diana) of Port Charlotte, Mary Ann Burns (late James) of Colchester, Cathy Messina of Williston, Diane Trombly (Tom) of Chazy and Michael Messina (Tom Elmlinger) of Alpharetta, Georgia. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
