Marvin E. McCorkle Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin E. McCorkle of Pensacola, Florida, born in Palm Beach, Florida, who passed away on May 28, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond McCorkle and Emaline McCorkle; his son Kelly Scott McCorkle; his brother Robert Thomas; his parents-in-law, James and Yvonna Whittaker; his brother-in-law Steve Whittaker; and his pets, Niko, Jenny and Noodles.

He is survived by: his wife Jana K. McCorkle; his children, Shanda White (Rick), Stacie McCorkle, Matthew Downey and David Downey (Jennifer); his daughter-in-law Tina McCorkle; his siblings-in-law, Mike Whittaker (Betty), Kathy Delp (LeRoy) and Bobbi Whittaker; and his friends, Mike Moore, Derek and Bobbi Hosier. He is also survived by his loving pet princess; his judo family; and several brothers in law.
