He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Smith McMorris; and his grandparents, John and Nancy Landsdon Kelley. He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Caldwell (David) and Donna Jean Tate (Steve); his grandchildren, Thomas Caldwell (Amber), Kimberly Brown (Kendall), Taylor Tate and Tyler Tate; his sister-in-law Rena Lynn (Frank); his brother Walter Vaughn (Jane); his daughter Carol Parker (Jamie); his mother Edith Shear; and his siblings, James M Blakeney (Andrea), John Blakeney (Joyce) and Beverly Ross. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
