He is survived by: his wife Mindy Gates; his children, Michael McCombs, Jr. and Melinda Penton; his grandchildren, Gabrielle Walker, Michael McCombs and Jaden Baker; and his brothers, Ed McCombs (Ava), Roger McCombs and Brian McCombs. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and loved extended family.
