She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Vittum and Catherine Vittam; her former husband Donald R. Hayward; and her daughter-in-law Judy Hayward. She is survived by: her husband Terence Atkinson; her sons, Mitchell Hayward (Kathy Hayward) and Jeff Hayward; and her grandchildren, Jessica Hayward, Wayne Harrell, Stephen Hayward and Dorothy Hayward Hickman. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.

Pat loved donating to many saving the animals organizations.
