She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Cooper and Cora Mae Barnett Cooper; her children, Diane Salter and Troy Gandy; her brother Claude Cooper (Nell); and her grandson Caleb King.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Gandy of Gandyville, FL.; her children, Jan Whitton (Robert) of Foley, AL, Rick McKinley (Suzi) of Dallas, TX, Rhonda Wright of Century, FL, Robert Gandy (Yvette) of Berrydale, FL, Katie and Roger Burkett of Byrneville, FL; and her sister Bonnie Davis (Sonny) of York, S. C.. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home (1322 S Main St, Atmore, AL 36502). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
