It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodger Earl Wetzel (Pensacola, Florida), who passed away on April 11, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Wetzel and Lois Wetzel. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Josey; his children, Paula Keating (Tom), Levi Wetzel and Ty Wetzel; his siblings, Rixey Quadros and Ronald Wetzel; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Lauren and William.

Rod worked as a tradesman until his retirement in 2000 due to a diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease.
