It is with sadness that the passing of Ruth Ann (Higginbotham) Gallagher in Pensacola, Florida is shared. Ruth Ann, born on August 2, 1938 in Albany, Missouri, passed away on September 2, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Higginbotham and Marie Higginbotham; her husband Edward Gallagher; and her stepson Kevin. She is survived by: her brothers, Norman and Harlan Higginbotham; her children, Lori Van Wagner (Brian) and David Rintel (Cindy); her grandchildren, Calvin, Christopher, Patricia (Adam) and John (Kalynn); and her stepchildren, Nancy Loughlin (Jeffrey), Richard (Alison), Patricia, Edward (Melinda), Thomas, Carol Brown (James), Christopher (Anne Marie) and Katherine (Robert). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Roberson-Polley Chapel (403 N Hundley St, Albany, MO 64402). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at the Grandview Cemetery (104 US Hwy 136, Albany, MO 64402).
