She was predeceased by: her husband Curtis; her son Preston Jernigan; her parents, Sidney Clopton and Agnes Clopton (Lockwood); and her siblings, Jeff, Tommy, Jerry and Loice Clopton Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Castro (Sharon), Bobby Jernigan (Shamara) and Jenny Smith; and her siblings, Johnnie Clopton (Joyce), Joyce Edgar (Franklin), Gail Baglioni (Vincent) and David Clopton (Debbie). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel (6405 US-90, Milton, FL 32570). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
