In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Stephen leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Stephen may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Carroll Smith, Larry Smith and Clark Smith; his son Stephen Smith, Jr.; and his parents, Jean Smith and Forrest Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Candace Freeman, Aaron Smith (Deborah) and Amanda Smith; and his sister Judy Bonifay (Steve). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
