She was predeceased by: her parents, Winston McVea and Elva Kean McVea of Baton Rouge; and her brothers, Winston McVea and Richard McVea. She is survived by: her children, Laura Bogan (Christopher) and Richard Scott Ragan; her grandson Winston Bogan; and her sister-in-law Catherine McVea of Ruston, LA.. She is also survived by many cousins and close personal friends.
