He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Daughtry and Talla Gavin of Mossy Head, FL; his wife Arline (Lottie); and his siblings, Hessie Lee Gavin, Pauline Medley of Crestview, FL, Adileen Alford of Birmingham, AL and Ruth Alford of DeFuniak Springs, FL.. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
