He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arlie Gunter and Helen Gunter; his wife Eleanor Godwin; his siblings, Patricia Martin (Richard Wheeler) of Cumming, GA and Alan (Tina) of Summerville, SC; his nieces and nephews, Blair, Paige Martin, Nicolas and Michael Gunter; his sister-in-law Dale Schneider (Tom); his niece Ellie Schneider; his nephew Robert Pennington; and his goddaughter Honey Godwin Harris.
