He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Clancy and Helen Brady Clancy; his siblings, Francis Clancy and Mary Clancy Rennie; and his wife Carol Ann Clancy.

He is survived by: his children, Tom Clancy Jr. (Celine) of Chicago, IL, John Clancy (Keiko) of Naples, FL, Erin Lowsley-Williams (Mig) of New York, NY and Tara McLean (Hardin) of Navarre Beach, FL; and his grandchildren, Bridget Clancy, Rose Clancy, Liam Lowsley-Williams, Donal Lowsley-Williams, Jack McLean and Caroline McLean.
