With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne Edward Lowrey (Pensacola, Florida), who passed away on May 13, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Wayne may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lowrey and Mildred Lowrey. He is survived by: his wife Nellie Sue Jones Lowrey of Pensacola; his children, Ray Lowrey (Haley Lowrey), Daxton Lett, Tammy Ridgley (Troy Ridgley) and Maximus Ridgley; and his sister Jan Kennedy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Faith Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory - South (100 Beverly Pkwy, Pensacola, FL 32505). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
