Will Merrill III Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Will Merrill III of Pensacola, Florida, who passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Will is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Will's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his father Will Merrill. He is survived by: his mother Jane Henderson Merrill; his brothers, Burney Henderson Merrill (Lisanne) and J. Collier Merrill; his nephew J. Collier Merrill, Jr.; and his close friend Jessica Campbell.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Will's memory to the Gulfarium C.A.R.E. Center, a nonprofit conservation-based organization located in Fort Walton Beach, FL, that specializes in sea turtle rescue, rehabilitation and release, that will help continue his mission to protect and preserve marine wildlife along the Gulf Coast.
