He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arthur "Art" Atkinson and Rita Claire Atkinson; and his sister Betty Salisbury. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Ann Atkinson; his children, Amanda and Ryan; his daughter-in-law Julie; his grandchildren, Dylan, Ben and Alexandra; and his siblings, Kenneth Atkinson and Donna Deshaies.
