He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Lou Scott and Ralph Cook; his birth father Bennett Scott; and his brothers-in-law, Steve Mondello and Jim Epley.

He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his son Joshua Richard White (Sara); his siblings, Karon Hull (Skip), Melody Mondello and Everett Cook (Tami); and his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Zuccaro (Randy), Edi Caetano, Elaine Sasser, Michael Caetano (Alison), Richard Caetano (Thess), Alan Caetano and James Caetano. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
