He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Tatum and Lizzie Tatum; his wife Patricia Dean Palmer; and his brothers, Herman and Jack.
He is survived by: his children, Tony Tatum (Waylon) and Tina Tatum (Janet); his daughter-in-law Sharon Tatum; his grandchildren, Curtis Tatum (Valorie) and Ashley Palmer (Cody); his great grandchildren, Landon Tatum and Delilah Palmer; his siblings, Hazel Cook, Billy Tatum and Darrell Tatum (Dottie); and his sister-in-law Virginia Tatum.
