He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Howell and Mayo Bodiford Howell; his siblings, Dorothy Howell Pruitt, William Henry Howell (Buddy), John Dennis Howell, Juanita Howell Mendez, Theodore Howell (Ted) and Jimmi Lee Howell Raulerson; and his son Mark Scott Howell (Scotty).

He is survived by: his wife Linda P. Howell; and his children, Randolph Wayne Howell (Randy), Dennis Mitchell Howell (Mickey), Wesley Robert Howell and Sharon Howell Harden (Sherry). He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the New Hope Cemetery.
