Christina Brown Obituary

Christina Jane Liles Brown, 58, of Perry, Florida passed away August 10, 2023.

Mrs. Brown was born March 2, 1965, to the late Lucy and Wilford Liles, Sr. in Gainesville, Florida, but was raised in Cross City, Florida. She had lived in Perry for the last 14 years, after moving there from Chiefland, Florida. Mrs. Brown worked at Walmart and for many years at Martin Electronics. She was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Mayo, Florida.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband of seven years Gordon Brown, her sons Derrick Sickler and Anthony Rose, her stepson Billy Brown, her brothers Bobby Liles, James Liles, Jody Liles, and Wayne Liles, her sisters Rose Mary Pinner, Martha Anderson, Lucille Sheets, Ethel Hicks, and Barbara O'steen, her grandchildren Auna Sickler and Serenity Sickler, her step grandchildren Hailey Brown and William Brown, Jr., and other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her brother Wilford Liles.

Funeral services for Mrs. Brown will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home Cross City Chapel, with Pastor Cecil Pinner and Rev. Wayne Liles officiating. Interment will follow in Cross City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
