She was predeceased by: her parents, Pope Poppell and Elsie Poppell; her husband Hal Thompson of Perry; her daughter Julie Wilson; and her siblings, Charles Poppell, Jerry Poppell and Wanda Colson.
She is survived by: her children, Kent (Alise), David Thompson (Julie) and Marsha Chason (Garry); her grandchildren, Chris, Joey Chason, Patrick, Kendall, Rob Thompson, Rebecca Vann and Christie Battles; and her brother Ralph Poppell (Connie).
