He was predeceased by: his parents, G. W. Brown and Carolyn Brown; his brothers, Wayne, John Thomas and Robert Brown; his grandchildren, Josh Cook and Cheyenne Cook; and his great grandchild Sky.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Cook; his children, Charles (Sandra), Sharon Brown, Micah Cook (Jessica) and Emily Crain; his grandchildren, Michael, Jenny, James, Victoria, Garret, Austin, Kathryn, Elizabeth, Colt and Anita; and his siblings, Ronnie, Richard, Ray, Faye, Renee, Rhonda, Debbie and Tammy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and other adopted children.
