He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Silveira and Ada Turner Silveira; his wife Alice F. Silveira of Cornell's Automotive; and his siblings, Michael Silveira and Betty Winters.
He is survived by: his children, Gene Jones, Jennifer Ford (Luke) and Deana Carr (Richard); his nephew Dan Campobasso (Emily); his siblings, Nancy Smith, Paulette Smith and Jerry Cawthon; his grandchildren, Shawna Roher (Adam), Dallas Nelson, Haley Ford (Josh Padgett), April Duggan (Travis), Brandy Griffin (Keith), Heather McCoy, Trey Jones and Shelby Jones; and his pet Titan. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
