She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Mills Parker and Louisianna Davis Parker; and her husband Bobbie Joe Johnson. She is survived by: her friend Edye Rowell. She is also survived by family consists of a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Advent Christian Village Benevolent Fund in her memory.
