He is survived by: his son Jonathan Floyd Sheffield; his siblings, Charlene (Charles Davis), Kathleen (Louis Shaw), Maria Sheffield, Alice (Harvey Raulerson) and James Robert "Bob" Sheffield (Vivian); and his friend Mark Taylor. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
