He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jackson Ezell and Grace Raulerson Ezell; and his sister Dixie Amelia Baxley. He is survived by: his wife Joy Towles Ezell; his children, Melissa Ezell Steele (Robert Steele), Miriam Ezell Dudley (Todd Dudley) and Loren A. Ezell (Feebee Walker Houck); his siblings, Janie Ezell Massey and William 'Billy Ezell; and his grandchildren, Mathew, Laura, Zackery, Tyler, Alexandra and Maranda. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
