We announce the death of Kathryn Murray (Perry, Florida), who passed away on October 8, 2026, at the age of 88. Kathryn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carley Zipperer and Jewel Zipperer of Jennings, Florida.; her husband Coleman Murray; her daughter Ellen Roberts; her son-in-law Leroy Roberts; her brothers, Gene Zipperer, Bryan "Chipper" Zipperer, Lewis "Bubby" Zipperer and Martin Zipperer; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Zipperer.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Rebecca Eldridge (Dale) and Jessica Payne (Ron); her great grandchildren, Brian Humphries (Sara), Trenton Payne and Grayson Eldridge; her great great grandchildren, Carter Bailey and Treston Humphries; and her siblings, Ira Zipperer, Aveline Brittain (Fred), Michael Zipperer (Katie), Carla Sapp, Dena Pollard (Walt) and Lee Zipperer. She is also survived by nieces and nephew, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
