She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Crit Jones (Sara Cox Jones) and Betsy; and her sister Ruth Jones Eiland. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Bruce Smith, Jr. (Bruce), Walter Crit Smith (Dee Ann) and Susan Smith Thompson (Chris); and her great grandchildren, James Ramsey Ellis, Michael Crit Ellis, Millie Grace Thompson, Harper Elizabeth Thompson and Zachary Michael Bracy.
Even after the crippling effects of Alzheimer's she remained loving and sweet until the end.
