It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel P. Sheffield (Perry, Florida), who passed away on September 15, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Dan Pridgeon and Susie Scott Pridgeon; and her husband Charles D. Sheffield. She is survived by : her children, Annette Driggers (Johnnie) and Terry Wayne Sheffield; her granddaughter Lindsey Hayes (Matthew); her great grandchild Jake Hayes; and her brother Kenneth Pridgeon (Hinton Slaughter). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mt. Gilead Baptist church.
