She is survived by: her husband Lester Walker; her children, Sammy Barrs Jr. (Trish) and Karen Tharpe (Ricky); her daughter-in-law Marilyn Johnson; her siblings, Earl Cannon and Doris "Bobo" Moffat; her grandchildren, Maria Tharpe Giddens, Monica Whiddon (Ed), RJ Tharpe (Cassie), Kyle Johnson (Kasey), Kaycie Stringer (Lee), Keyla Nance (Dalton), Chance Barrs (Missy), Leigh Walker, Jesika Curry (Brad) and Stephanie White (Anthony); her sisters, Ellen Simpson, Eunice Blue, Ethel Mae Brown and Audrey Kelley; her former husband Sammy; her son Tommy Johnson; and her stepson Wayne Walker.
