She was predeceased by: her husband Elton Hayes; her son-in-law Pete Tuten; and her parents, L. P. Hendry and Ruby Hendry. She is survived by: her daughters, Jan Tuten and Charlotte Bell (Chuck); her sisters, Jewel Horton and June Lytle; and her grandson Benjye Tuten. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
