She was predeceased by : her parents, Wallace Corbin and Mary Bennett. She is survived by : her husband W. O. "Bud" Newman; her daughter Anita Newman; and her sisters, Glenda Valentine (Larry) and Brenda Miller (Ed). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Burns Funeral Home of Perry (1400 N Johnson Stripling Rd, Perry, FL 32347).
