He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Jean Whetsel; and his sister Annie Mae Porter. He is survived by: his children, Alicia Paul (Keith), Michelle Whetsel, Daryl Whetsel and Michael Whetsel (Debbie); and his siblings, Allison McNealy, Elder Robert Lee Thomas (Carolyn) of Palm Coast, FL, Crosby Whetsel Sr. of Peny, FL, Wanen Whetsel (Rosalind) of Jacksonville, FL and Lewis Leon Whetsel (Elaine).
