He is survived by: his wife Joan Sutton of Perry; his daughters, Rebecca Sheffield (Patrick) of Tallahassee and Elizabeth Eastman of Perry; his grandchildren, Natalie Eastman of Perry, Zoe, Molly and Samuel Sheffield of Tallahassee; his granddaughter-in-law Karlie Lynn of Jacksonville; his brother-in-law Ed Richards of Ohio; his niece Debbie Clark (L. C.) of Perry; and his nephews, George Merritt (Lisa) of Alabama, Jeff Merritt (Deborah) of Tallahassee, Rod Horn of Ohio, Scott Richards of Ohio and Tom Richards of Ohio. He is also survived by cousins, great- nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
