We bid farewell to Gloria Layfield (Pierson, Florida), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 24, 2026 at the age of 91. Gloria touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl M. Turner and Lillian Pittman Blegan; her husband Ralph Layfield; her daughter Joan Moore; her brothers, Carl Turner Jr. and Herbert Turner; and her aunt Leota Pfeil.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Guess (Ellis), Mike Layfield, Patricia Bowen (Bob), James Layfield (Kim), Joyce Beasley (Kevin) and Dale Layfield (Olga). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lucille's memory to the Scholarship Fund at First Baptist Church of Pierson.
